Punkblishing

'Punkblishing' is a term coined by the artist from the action of self-publishing, curating, creating and distributing of zines (from the word 'magazines') with interest in contents including critical, creative writing and visual art that are distributed online. Over the years, this publication by the artist has increasingly amassed its own cult collectors.

This freedom and accessibility in zine-making has become a catalyst in shaping and sharing creative exploration and encouraged innovation with learning design choices, layout composition, book binding techniques and materials throughout the process. This experimentation and representation is in line with the non-conforming do-it-yourself method of the punk movement.

To date, the artist has exercised punkblishing through the creation of over ten zines.
